Privacy
What we save: the fields you type into the report form, nothing else.
What we never save: your name, your email address or your IP address.
Who sees it: moderators see pending reports. Everyone else sees only approved reports.
What does a report contain?
A report holds the month of the layoff and, if you add them, the company, your role, the number of people affected, the severance weeks, the notice given, the reason, your next step and a short note. Only the month is required.
Is a report public?
Yes, once a moderator approves it. Approved reports appear on the home page and in the open JSON data at /api/reports.
Terms of use
Reports are self-reported and unverified, so the Bangladesh Tech Layoff Tracker gives no guarantee of accuracy. Please do not submit names of private individuals or any detail that identifies a person. Moderators delete reports that break this rule. You may reuse the data if you say it is unverified.
