Common questions

How do moderators review a report?

A moderator reads each report, checks it for names and spam, and then approves or deletes it. Nothing appears before approval.

Does the tracker store my identity?

No. The tracker saves no name, email or IP address with a report. Your IP address only limits how often you can submit.

Can I download the data?

Yes. The approved reports are open as JSON at /api/reports. Developers can read them with a single request, as shown below.

Why do some reports have no company name?

Reporters may fear retaliation, so the company field is optional. These reports still count toward the totals, as undisclosed.

Where can I learn more?

Read about the tracker for what the figures mean, or privacy and terms for how reports are handled. For the legal rules on notice, see the Bangladesh Labour Act 2006.

How do I report a layoff anonymously?

Select Report a layoff and fill in the form. Only the month is required. Your name, email and IP address are not saved with the report.
